The Competency Based Curriculum’s vision is to ensure that
all the learners are engaged, empowered and that they become ethical
citizens.
When we look at some of the changes in CBC, it is quite different
from the traditional knowledge education. The transition is from less to more exposure
to the learner’s benefit.

CBC tries to shift in the traditional
knowledge which is mainly:

Values can be integrated in the curriculum. Values
like love, responsibility, respect, unity,peace, patriotism, social justice
and integrity can be infused with the selection of the learning environment
and allow learning experiences.
Guidance an counselling programmes can also be infused in
learning so that the learners can have a safe environment where they are
learning and at the same time their needs are as well met.
