Communications and Interpesonal Skills.


To build a good communication, active listening skills is definitely required and also leave space for the other person .One of the key ideas that we learn so far is that communication is the ability to convey one's message to their audience as important as how they can understand and respond/engage with the conveyor.

 

The best thing to learnt about an effective communication skill is learning to listen before  responding to anything especially during a talk. Learn that we don't have to react to anybody while giving a response. Instead thinking about it before giving a feedback is the key area of a good communication skill.

  Form of communication.

  • ·        Face to face.
  • ·        Email.
  • ·        Video chats
  • ·        Social communication. 

All the above forms of communication: face to face, email, social communication and video chats depends on the audience and the person relying the information. You can prefer the face to face depending on the availability of the recipients of the information. Social platforms like WhatsApp, Facebook linked in are also some of the best ways .


Communication can be developed by actively listening. It helps you to develop at work, but also your personality as you learn new ways of communicating and action moreover,  it  helps to sustain you in times of trouble, developing your fortitude as well. It is so important to ask questions and not just accept people's words at face value; some like to use this as their own shield, not only to guard against all trespassers, but sometimes to keep information they know to themselves.



Video chats are better ways of communication than emails, one is more likely to drift from the main subject of discussion and end up checking on some personal issues on your social media account.  You could also have a poor connection and above all this can be very expensive. 


In the face to face communication. Through this platform you can express your interest in the conversation with your body language and confidence in whatever Information that you are conveying. A good example is when you want to market a new product or introduce a new concept to your learners, being a new app in the market, I would prefer using face to face, video on social media to rely my information to the tutors. This will enable you to answer their questions on the new app and even get any suggestions for the new app. Also the face to face method would enable the communicator to know if the tutors are happy about it or not.


 

Being an active listener to a communicator means Checking on the body language and use the what, when, why, where and why to guide you in knowing what and how to respond. Apart from that, also practice what to say before going to say it. Always not to be afraid of the hierarchy. Speak your mind even to your boss they will always listen. You need to focus on your strengths and not weaknesses in my communication channel.

 


The Public figures either government officers, film actress, or popular singers, we learn how they manage controversial issues related to their works and careers. They are not easily temperament, on the contrary they are so patient and keep calm even in facing stressing moment. Active listening with eye contact and proper open question is the right way to be a master of communication.

 

If you are not a good communicator, you have to put in the effort to be better. Turn to those who are experts and learn from them.
